Hazrat Hafsa Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "It is wajib and an essential duty for every Muslim to perform the Friday prayer." (Nasa'i)

However, if someone does not attend the Friday prayer on Friday for any reason or goes to the mosque and finds that the Friday prayer has ended, then that person will pray 4 rakats of Zohar. Hazrat Ibn Mas'ud Radiyallahu Anhu said, "Whoever gets one rak'at of Jumu'ah, that person should read another rak'at." But whoever does not get the ruku (of the second rak'at), let him recite 4 rak'ats of Zohar.

Rasulullah SAW It is said that a person who takes a bath on Friday and goes to the mosque quickly, sits close to the imam, listens to the khutbah without speaking, and prays will be rewarded for one year of Nafl fasting and prayer for every step he takes. (Tirmidhi, Hadith Number: 456)

Ubai Ibn Ka'b RA. He said, I was told that if you buy a donkey and climb on its back to pray in the darkness of the night and in the sun, then it is better.

Hearing this, I said, I don't like my house to be next to the mosque. I want every step of walking to the mosque and going from the mosque to my family at home to be recorded in the deeds for me. Rasulullah Saw heard this from me. He said, "Allah the Almighty has prepared a similar reward for you." (Muslim, Hadith: 1400)

Hazrat Abu Huraira, RA. Narrated from, he said, I Rasulullah SAW I have heard it said that when the prayer starts, do not run and join the prayer, but walk to join the prayer. It is essential for you to go slowly in prayer. So pray with the congregation as much as you can. And fill up what has run away. (Bukhari)
