According to media information, the number of Internet users in the country stood at 131 million in July 2023. This is expected to increase further by the end of 2024. As Internet use is increasing day by day, Internet-centric crimes are also increasing day by day. All kinds of terrible crimes have been created in the virtual world.

Where a person can get involved in many big crimes even from within the four walls if he wanders.

Therefore, we should be careful that our children do not enter such alleys of the Internet world. Because it has been mentioned in the Hadith Sharif, each of you is a protector (responsible), and each of you will be questioned. A man is the protector of his family; he will be questioned about it.

Currently, young people are more addicted to the Internet. The mirage of the virtual world attracts them more. The dream of corrupt entertainment, grabbing expensive digital products for free, or becoming a big man in a shortcut sometimes takes them to such a dark world of the Internet, which threatens both their faith and lives. One such dangerous world of the Internet is the Dark Web.

The Dark Web is a dangerous online crime world, which is more dangerous than people can imagine.

Dark Web users carry out various illegal activities while keeping their personal information secret. Such as hacking, drug sales, arms sales, copyright infringement, smuggling, assassinations, pornography, and human trafficking.

Most of the young people go to the dark web to buy various valuable digital products, such as expensive software, best-selling books, pirated copies of newly released movies, songs, etc., which are available on the dark web. Since these copyrights are violated, keeping their identities secret, no action can be taken against the culprits. However, the copyright of digital products belongs to the creator of that product. Using or marketing it in violation of piracy is tantamount to destroying the rights of others. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "No one's wealth is lawful for anyone except for his own satisfaction." (Bayhaqi)

This is the smallest crime in the world of the dark web. Since it is a paradise for criminals, many people gradually get involved in big crimes. Here, all the dangerous drugs are available cheaply, and powerful military weapons can be purchased anonymously. Everything harmful, including harmful acid, fake jewelry, fake checks, fake credit cards, etc., is available here. And these black markets are so secure that it is almost impossible to identify the buyers and sellers here.

The most dangerous thing is that even professional killers can be hired here, who can even kill people in exchange for currency. Apart from this, tutorials on how terrorists plan various crimes, how to make illegal explosives at home, and any criminal act can also be found on the dark web. 

Apart from this, it is a huge storehouse of entertainment with distorted tastes, every act of which is abominable and forbidden and the work of Satan. In the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty has ordered His servants to abstain from all the works of Satan. It is said, ‘O believers! Avoid intoxicants, gambling, idols, and fortune-telling, abominable works of Satan, that you may be successful.’ (Surah: Maidah, verse: 90)

Every believer should keep himself and his relatives away from such destructive activities.

Another danger is that many hackers lurk in every corner of the dark web. As a result, when the user clicks on a link, his device is infected with a virus. In many cases, hackers take full control of the user's device, even accessing the camera of his device, which the user does not even realize. As a result, many of his sensitive matters are sold on the dark web market without his knowledge. Or he may have to face the wrath of the law enforcement agencies due to the commission of a crime using his device. That is why Allah Almighty has warned his servants through the Holy Quran, 'Do not incline towards the oppressors, then the fire will touch you, and then you will have no protector besides Allah, and then you will not be helped.' (Surah: Hud, verse: 113)

Because the company of the oppressors and their imitation pushes people towards Hell. Therefore, one should refrain from going to this world even just to look, because a wrong step here may have to pay a heavy price. Every believer should keep himself and his relatives away from such destructive activities.
