What should I do to have all my prayers accepted? (Three sisters image) |
When I feel that any request in this world or the Hereafter is urgent, I adopt some strategies taught by the Prophet (PBUH). This is proof that Allah Subhanahu Ta'ala hears my prayers, at least in worldly matters and in the Hereafter. We will be able to compare the results in the Hereafter, In Sha Allah, when we will be rewarded. I am sharing some strategies with everyone, In Sha Allah.
1- Continuing to supplicate with the belief that even if a simple person asks for something 5-7 times, he will be ashamed to say no, and my Lord, the Greatest Giver, will give it to him, and this cannot happen.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah the Most High says: ‘I am as My servant thinks of Me.’” (Sahih Bukhari- 7405, Sahih Muslim- 4675)
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allaah be pleased with him): “Supplicate to Allaah with firm belief (aaqeen) that supplication will be accepted.” (Sunan Tirmidhi, Al-Albaani classed the hadeeth as ‘hasan’ in Saheeh al-Jami’- 245)
So whoever has a good belief about Allah, Allah will shower His blessings upon him, bestow upon him good grace, and bestow upon him good mercy and charity.
2. Making Dua between the Adhan and the Iqamah.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Dua is not rejected between the Adhan and the Iqamah. So make dua. (Tirmidhi and Ahmad), i.e., from the time the Adhan is called until the prayer begins in the mosque.
3. Making Dua in the last third of the night.
Supplication is accepted in the last third of every night. It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Every night in the last third of the night, Allah descends to the lowest heaven and says: Who calls on Me, I will answer him. Whoever asks of Me, I will give him what he wants. "Whoever asks for my forgiveness, I will forgive him." (Muslim)
4. Praying while fasting, asking for prayers from parents, praying while traveling, or asking for prayers from a traveler.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Three supplications are not rejected (by Allah): the supplication of a parent for his child, the supplication of a fasting person, and the supplication of a traveler." (Bayhaqi, Tirmidhi)
5. Praying from the heart for an absent Muslim brother or sister or asking for prayers from them.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "When a Muslim supplicates for another Muslim from his heart, his supplication is accepted. An angel is assigned there. Whenever that person supplicates for his Muslim brother, that angel immediately says, "Amen," "Amen." And he says, "May it be the same for you." (Muslim, Mishkat: 2228, Dua Chapter, Chapter-9)
So it can be seen that whatever you pray for another Muslim brother, Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala will also give you the same, In Sha Allah, or if someone prays for you in your absence, that prayer will be accepted.
6. Raising two hands to ask for something.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, Allah is very shy when one of you asks Allah for something with both hands raised. Then if it is beneficial for him, Allah gives it to him, and if it is not beneficial for him, Allah is shy to return him empty-handed, so he gives him something or the other. (Abu Dawud)
So it is understood that raising hands to pray is very beneficial; if you raise your hands to pray, you will get something or the other.
This can be done at any time of the day or night; the hadith does not specify any time, nor does it say to do it together with everyone, so you can raise your hands alone and ask Allah for your request at any time.
7- Asking while prostrating.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The servant reaches the closest to his Lord during prostration. Therefore, supplicate as much as you can at that time." (Muslim, Mishkat: 894, paragraph 14)
If you can ask for the thing you need in Arabic, then it is better to ask for it in Arabic after reciting the Tasbeeh of Sajdah. If you cannot do so in Arabic, then you can ask for it in your own language after reciting the Tasbeeh of Sajdah, so there is no problem, Insha Allah.
8- Making Dua with the Isma'e-A'zam.
Allah-Humma, Inni As-Aluqa Bi'Annaka Antalla-Hul Ahadus Samadulladhi Lam Yalid Wa Lam Yulad Wa Lam Yaqul Lahu Qufuwan Ahad.
O Allah, I ask You, for You are Allah, the One, the Eternal, the Self-Sustaining, the One Who did not beget, nor was He begotten, nor was there any sufficient for Him.
When a person heard this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “That person has supplicated to Allah with His ‘Isma’e Azam’ (the Greatest Name). Whoever supplicates with that name will be given to him. And when supplication is made through it, it will be accepted.”
(Ibn Majah ha/3857 ‘Do‘a’ Chapter-34, ‘Allah's Isme Azam’ Paragraph-9; Abu Dawud ha/1493; Note the explanation of ‘Awnul Ma‘bud ha/1482)
That is, after reciting this supplication, one should express one’s needs to Allah, and Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala will accept one’s supplication, In Sha Allah.
We try to use almost all the means and resources available to succeed in any worldly work. In this case too, if we use all kinds of efforts and do not give up, it is hoped that Allah Subhanahu Ta'ala will accept all our prayers in this world and the Hereafter. If we give up, Allah Subhanahu Ta'ala will not accept our prayers. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “The supplication of a servant is always accepted, unless he mentions a sin or severing ties of kinship in his supplication and does not rush. It was asked, O Messenger of Allah! What does rushing mean? He said, “Hasting in supplication, because the supplicant hastened to supplicate, but he did not see it answered. As a result, he becomes discouraged and tired and stops supplicating.” (Sahih Muslim)
