devil's form: Islamic Story Satan's evil counsel
devil's form: Islamic Story |
The Story of Barsisa of Bani Israel:Barsisa was a well-known worshiper and priest, 'Abid of Bani Israel. He had his own temple, and there he devoted himself to worship.Three men from Bani Isra'il wanted to go to Jihad, not knowing where to leave their only sister. They asked everyone, 'Where can we leave our sister?' We cannot leave him alone. Where can he be left?' Then they said to them, 'The most suitable place to leave him would be to leave him with that worshipper, who is the most pious person and the most trustworthy. Leave your sister with him; he will take care of her.
They went to Abid. Narrated everything to him and said, 'This is the situation—we want to go to Jihad. Can you take the trouble to look after our sister?' He said, ""I seek refuge with Allah from you"". Get away from me'. Then the devil tempted him, 'To whom will you leave him? If you don't watch out for him, maybe some bad guy will watch out for him, and then you know what happens! How can you pass up this good work?'Look! Satan is encouraging him to do good! So he called them back and said, 'Okay, I will take care of him, but he cannot stay with me in my temple.I have another house; he will stay in that house. He said to the girl, 'You stay there; I will stay in my temple'. So the girl lived in a room in that house, and the priest brought her food every day and left it outside her own door.
Satan's evil counsel
He would not even go to the girl's house, but would leave the food outside his door, and the girl would have to come out of the house and fetch the food. He didn't even want to look at the girl. Then Satan came to him again and said, 'What are you doing? Don't you know that when the girl comes out of her house and comes to your temple, people will see her? You should leave the food at his door.'' He said, 'Yes, indeed'.But the devil does not talk to him face-to-face, whispering to him or giving him bad advice.
Priest 'Abid then started bringing the food to the girl's door. This went on for some time, then the devil said to him, 'The girl is still opening her door and coming out to take the plate; someone might see her; you should go and bring the plate to her room'. Satan tells Kinata to do better! So he started keeping the plate of food in the house, leaving it there he would leave immediately. A few more days passed like this. Meanwhile, as the Jihad was going on, the return of the brothers was delayed. Satan came to him again and said, 'Well, you will leave him alone like this; there is no one to look after him or to talk to him.
It's like he's locked in a prison with no one to talk to. Why don't you take his responsibility? You can keep socializing with him and talk a little so that you can keep track of him. If not, it will be seen that he will go out and get involved with some other person. So he stood outside the room and started talking to the girl, who was talking from inside the room. Both had to almost shout to be heard by each other.
Satan then said to him,
'Why don't you shout at each other from a distance like this and make the matter a little more convenient for yourself? Why don't you sit and talk with her in the same room?' So now he started spending some time sitting in the same room with the girl. Then slowly, they started spending hours together, and slowly, they started getting closer to each other. There was a time when Abid, the priest and worshiper, indulged in zina (fornication) with that girl. As a result, the girl became pregnant. the girl gave birth to a child. The devil came to the priest and said, 'What have you done? Do you know what will happen when his brothers come back? They will kill you, even if you say, “This is not my child" So now there is only one way:You kill the child and bury him'. Barsisa said, 'Will it remain a secret after I have killed his son? 'Satan said, 'Do you think he will keep it a secret? If you think so, then you are a big fool. He asked, 'Then what shall I do?' Satan replied, 'You should kill that girl too'.So he killed the girl and the child, then buried them under the same house. The brothers came back once, then asked, 'Where is our sister?', and he replied, 'Inna lillahi wa inna ilahi rajiun, she fell ill and then died; she has been buried there', saying he showed a grave. They said, 'Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihiraji'un', prayed for their sister, and returned to their homes.
Barsisa prostrated before Satan.
At night, one of the three brothers had a dream. Who came in that dream?Satan said to him, 'Who do you believe, Barsisa? Do you believe him? He lied. He committed adultery with your sister, then killed her and her son. And the proof of this is that your sister is not there, where He has shown you the grave. There is a stone under his house.
He woke up and told the rest of his brothers about the dream. They said, 'We have also seen the same dream, so it must be true'. The next day, they dug the false grave but found nothing. Then they went to their sister's house, removed the soil, and found a child with her sister's dead body. They went and caught Barsisa.'Liar! Did you do these things?' They grabbed him and dragged him to the king. At that time, the devil came to Barsisa, but this time he did not come as a other form; he took the form of a real person. He said, 'Barsisa, do you know who I am? I am the devil.I am the one who got you into so much trouble. And I am the one who can save you from this danger now. I have caused these incidents, and I have the solution. Now it is up to you; if you want to die, that is fine. If you want me to save you, then I can't. "Please save me," said Barsisa.
Satan said, "Prostrate to me." Barsisa prostrated before Satan. But what did Satan say? She said, 'Thank you very much; it was nice to meet you' and she never saw him again.Barsisa prostrated himself to Satan, and this was the last thing he did in his life, as he was executed shortly afterwards. So the last act of his life was to prostrate himself to Satan. He was the worshiper who was on the straight path, but since he had decided to deviate from it, even a very small deviation, which at first seemed absolutely trivial, for the sake of a little convenience, He did them in the name of Maslahar of Deen. The measure of his deviation from the straight path was absolutely insignificant, but look at his end result!
Lesson:
That is why Islam tells us to beware at first of bad deeds and not go near the edge of zina. If Barsisa had been careful in advance, he would not have seen such a day.O Allah, protect us from the deception of Satan. Ameen
