Our life and death are only for the pleasure of Allah.

The goal of a believer is only the pleasure of Allah. |
A believer's goal is Allah's pleasure.
Our life and death are only for the pleasure of Allah. This short period of time called life is only a means to please Allah and attain Paradise. Life is destined for sacrifice, not for happiness. Therefore, the only goal and purpose of our life should be the pleasure of Allah. Allah Almighty says, among people there is someone who gives his life to achieve the pleasure of Allah, and indeed, Allah is most merciful to His servants. (Surah Al-Baqarah: 207). In another verse, Allah Almighty says, O Prophet, say: My prayer, my sacrifice, my life, and my death are for Allah, the Lord of the worlds. (Surah Al-An'am: 62).
Here, among the branched activities of religion, prayer is mentioned first. Because it is the soul of all good deeds and the pillar of religion. Then all other works and worship are briefly mentioned. Then, mentioning the entire life's activities and conditions and finally death, it is said that all of this is dedicated to the One Lord of the Worlds, Allah, Who has no partner. This is the result of complete faith and complete sincerity. A person should remember in every activity and situation of life that there is one Lord for me and for the whole world, that I am His servant, and I am always in His sight.
Therefore, all my actions and exchanges should be for the pleasure of Allah alone. Hazrat Abu Umama (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Whoever loves (someone) for the pleasure of Allah, harbors enmity for the pleasure of Allah, gives something for the pleasure of Allah, and refrains from giving something for the pleasure of Allah, that person has attained the perfection of faith." (Abu Dawud: 4681)
Allah has purchased the life of a believer in exchange for Paradise.
Therefore, the only goal and purpose of a believer's life is to achieve the pleasure of Allah. In various places in the Holy Quran and Hadith, Allah has described the goal and purpose of the believer's life. Allah Almighty says, "He does this only to seek the pleasure of His Lord. He will surely be pleased with him." (Surah Al-Layl: 20, 21)
The success of the Hereafter is certain for the person who works only for the pleasure of Allah. Not only is the success of the Hereafter the end, but the believer who aims to attain the pleasure of Allah, along with the pleasure of Allah, his worldly life is also blessed with goodness and blessings. Allah makes his path easy. He opens the doors of mercy for him. It was narrated from Aisha (RA) that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "Whoever seeks the pleasure of Allah at the cost of displeasing people, Allah will suffice him as a helper in fulfilling his responsibilities. And whoever seeks the pleasure of people at the cost of displeasing Allah, Allah will leave him to the people." (Tirmidhi Sharif: 5130).
The greatest success for a believer is the pleasure of Allah.
The believer hopes to achieve the pleasure of Allah in all his worldly activities. Because the greatest success for a believer is the pleasure of Allah. It has been said that Allah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever, and (promises) pure dwellings in the Gardens of Eternity. And the greatest pleasure from Allah is that. That is the great success. (Aal-Imran: 15). We should all do every worldly work to achieve the pleasure of Allah Almighty. May Allah Almighty grant us all success.
